Mobile communication platform

The IPS-530 Water Meter Gateway device transmits data from pulse water meters to the data acquisition and processing head-end system via NB-IoT/Cat-M1 communication networks.

Communication types

  • Scheduled PUSH communication (Gateway -> Head-End) - initiated from device side in given periods (parameter): 
    • Data log in ABL file format or DLMS/COSEM (EN 62056) format messages 
    • Push messaging framework makes it easy to implement other protocols 
    • Technical data in hearth-beat messages (signal quality, battery status, etc.) 
  • Prompt PUSH communication (Gateway -> Head-End): 
    • Alert messages 
    • Heart-beat message initiated manually from device side with magnet or push button inside the device 
  • Pull (Head-End -> Gateway) - as a response to a push message.
